Organize for Effective Action

Below is an Example for Organizing Your Pacting Action Group

When you are facing problems caused by irresponsible companies and individuals keep in mind the need to organize.  PACT is here to help with this by providing information and providing the steps to be taken.  After you start your PACTing Group we are here to provide you on the steps to take for your specific challenges.

For instance, informing your community about a source of pollution that appears to be causing disease and death.  There are far more advanced technologies for identifying these and their sources.  We provide you with where to get these, how to use them, and for compiling the information for what you need to do next.

One example in this case is that water and soil can be tested to document the exact composition of the lead being released.

Below is an instance of lead, a poison, which is being released into the water in Corona California.  From there it is carried west, across miles of waterways, through wetlands, near Disneyland, and housing.  Amounts of this are ending up on the beach in Newport.

The same area faces the problem of more toxic waste from old oil drilling which is now reaching the water table.  EcoApp gives you the information needed to prove these conditions exist and also provides data on people who were probably impacted.

Finding more than one problem can be expected.

The Power Point above provides a lot of information for a specific area.  You can have the same kind of information for any area using Eco-Emergency Alert Phone App

Now, what do you do with the information and how do you start a local PACTing Group ?

Create a presence using social media focusing on the areas impacted, which include contact information and information on the problem.  You can use a facebook page or your own website.  These are available free from many providers.  If you want suggestions let us know.

Outline the problem, include a URL to your site or to PACT, or a specific pge on this site if you do not have a site up yet.

Write short articles for the local paper or post notices in your local area.  Get in touch with groups concerned about the environment.

If you need advice, before or after you start your group on PACT, just ask.   Also look down the list of PACTing Groups.  You may find one or more have already started.
